Stephen and I had our engagement photos taken this morning at Memory Grove in SLC. The photographer already has a few posted on her website for us to view even though she said it wouldn’t be before Monday…. I like her! Anyway this is my favorite photo, I found this pose on another website online and asked her to do it. We weren’t sure how well it would work, but I gotta say I love it! Let me know what you think.
There were a couple more for us to see, to get an idea of how the pictures will turn out. But I think this is the only sneak peak I will be giving you guys for now. I can’t wait to get the cd!!!
Any other updates? Well today Alabama plays but it is not a big enough game to make it on tv out here. We found it on pay per view but it was…. $129.00, can you believe that? Stephen says it is probably that high because if a restaurant or bar purchased it to play, they could make a lot more money than that with people coming there to watch it. But both of us were in shock with that price tag.
I thought that I would be able to carry over my left over PTO to next year and use it for my wedding, since my work asked me to cancel a couple of vacation times I had scheduled this year, so they could have coverage… but luckily I found out this week I can’t carry it over so I have until Sept 30 to take all of my 57.75 hours. So I am going to be taking a couple long weekends this month. It actually works out because Stephen will be going to Denver the end of the month, for work. I have family in Denver and they would probably be the ones that cannot make it out here for the wedding and it would be nice for them to meet Stephen, so I will be going out with him and we will make a long weekend of it! Then I will take off some time for Stephen’s mom this week and then just some random days!!! It will be good and I am really glad I got the clarification on the PTO thing when I did, because it would have sucked more to have lost all of those hours than it did to not be able to use them as I had planned.
Oh and life should be a lot more calm after last night. My work has an annual recruiting event held at their offices and I have a huge roll in that. The event was last night so the past few weeks at work have been super busy with all of that. It went really really well and we had a huge turn out but I have to say it is great that it is over! I ran into a girl I went to high school with there, Tara Neeley. Her husband is going to school for accounting so they came out to check out Tanner. It was good to catch up with her and all. She asked about our friend Holly, I gave her an update on her life (She says “hi” Hols)! It was great!
I think this is enough for now! Keep a look out on our wedding website for more engagement pictures!!!!!
