Three Year Old Photoshoot – Kailyn

We recently spent over a week at my in-laws in Mississippi. It was so wonderful to spend time with family and relax. I am missing being poolside and hanging with all the cute kids. While we were there, I offered to do a three year old photoshoot for my niece Kailyn.

How I get more use out of my kid’s winter clothes

I realize this would have been more helpful earlier in the year, but it’s one of those things that keeps getting pushed to the back burner. Plus I wanted to make sure we actually used these so it could be an honest report. This is how I get more use out of my kid’s winter clothes.

Tips for Photographing Active Kids

My son is almost 3. He is rambunctious and very active. I take all the portraits of my kids and family myself. It’s starting to become a little bit of a challenge getting the “shots” I want. I’ve got some Tips for Photographing Active Kids that I’ve been using lately and might help you with your own photography.

The Easiest Iced Coffee

I am a sucker for froofy coffee drinks. I love Starbucks and when my mom is visiting we frequently grab an iced coffee there. It’s just not practical for my life or my wallet to drink it as much as I would like so I’m sharing The Easiest Iced Coffee recipe that I’ve fallen in love with.

Bookmarks and Matching Gift Tags free printables

One of the areas I am trying to improve in myself, is to learn to love reading. My Uncle Carey always sent a book for birthdays when I was growing up and I think it is such a wonderful gift. Books are perfect gifts for yourself, birthdays, thinking of you, graduation, really any time you are thinking of someone, you can find a book that fits that part of their life. When I want to be inspired by something and more motivated, I need things to be cute! So I’ve create a few Bookmarks and Matching Gift Tags free printables to share with you today.

Perspective Can Change Everything – My Gratitude List

I’ve been having a visit from the green monster of jealousy lately. The more I focus on it, the more it grows and the worse I feel. I want to live with more purpose and intent. I am in control of my life and happiness. Sure there are opportunities that some of us get from time to time but it takes action to make things happen. On the outside, others may seem like things just fall into place but that’s rarely the case. Things take hard work, dedication, courage and sometimes a little luck. Perspective Can Change Everything.
