My son is going to be a year old tomorrow. There I said it, I still don’t quite believe it but I said it and am starting to come to terms with it. I remember how slow time seemed to pass before him and now it really is going in the blink of an eye. I am sure it only gets worse the older he gets. I just wish time would slow down a little but oh well.
Applesauce Cookies
Is it just me or are you ready for fall? I went for a photo shoot this morning in the mountains and could smell it in the air. I am getting excited for it! After the shoot, I took my little family back to the mountains for a walk and picnic to soak in little bit of summer until fall gets here. I forget how gorgeous it is around here.
Dutch Babies
Stephen and I love breakfast, well really we love food but having breakfast together is something we try to do as often as possible. It’s just nice to start your day off with the one you love, around the table, ya know? Sometimes it is hard though with how busy mornings get and trying to get out the door so we usually reserve it for weekends. I have been wanting to try something new and outside of our normal rotation of french toast, pancakes, waffles, eggs and toast, etc. There is a local restaurant that serves these dutch babies and they seem to be the hit item to order. DIY – Photo Backdrop Stand

I hate my floors in my house – I have since the day they were installed. It’s a long story and clearly after 4+ years, I still harbor negative feelings about it – but alas I have found a solution for taking pictures in my home that do not include my floors. It also works great because I can transport it to client homes and is very inexpensive compared to what I could have purchased ready made.
Soft and delicious french bread – fresh or frozen
I am no baker. I have been trying some new recipes but over the past few years I have ruined a lot of baking attempts, mostly bread items. This recipe has been fool proof and delivers every time. I will usually make a match on a Sunday and freeze some of them so we can quickly pull out a loaf for a warm loaf a few weeks later!
