My mom and grandma came out to visit last week! It was so fun and a great visit. I wanted them to know how much we appreciated them making the big trip across the country to see us. They were our first visitors from my side of the family since we left Utah and it was the first time they got to meet our baby girl. It meant so much to us that they came out. I wanted a little something to make them comfortable and to give them a few things specific to the south! We topped it off with a ribbon and a little note. Stephen dropped them off the morning they were set to arrive and the hotel had them sitting on their beds in their room.
We got some anti frizz shampoo and conditioner for the humidity, a fan for the heat, sweet tea and watermelon water flavoring, sun screen, bug spray, lint rollers for our dogs, tissues and watermelon gum all with a little cosmetic bag and displayed in a cute basket from the dollar store.
It was so simple and quick, anyone could throw one together with specifics for their guests. It only cost about $15 each basket but was a fun little gift to prepare for them.
