Southern State of Mind Mason Jar Free Printable

Having recently moved to the South, I’m super excited to share this Southern State of Mind Mason Jar Free Printable.

I had another event with Birmingham Bloggers this week. It was a “blogentine” event. It was a Valentine kind of theme with a secret Santa type gift giving. Each blogger was given the name of another blogger that was at the event, beforehand. We then got to read up on them and come up with a gift idea that would be good for them. It was such a fun idea! It’s a pretty big group so it’s hard to get to know everyone and their blogs so this was a fun way to get to know at least two members (the person you give a gift to and the one you receive one from). Anyway, awesome event.

The event was held at Fab’rik in Homewood Alabama. It was fun to show up to a private shopping event, they had a cute little red carpet rolled out for us. Great little treats and some fun door prizes. It was a super cute boutique with some killer deals. I actually spent so much time mingling with other members that I didn’t take any pictures! I had never been to that area of town before and it was very cute. I am excited to go back to and check out some of the shops.

The blogger I got for my blogentine was Shanna from Blissfully Southern. She does beautiful caligraphy and shares some fun ideas and roundups on her blog. It was fun to read thorugh her blog and figure out what to get her. I decided to make her something. I went to designing and wanted to incorporate caligraphy and the south.

This Southern State of Mind Mason Jar is what I came up with! I did a dark stain, coral/pink mason jar and bright white lettering.

I love it so much! I wanted to keep it.

I wrapped it up in a couple layers of tissue paper, bakers twine and a matching tag.

At the event, we found our blogentine and gave the gift. I was really excited to give this to her but when I finally found her, I got nervous. She seemed to really like it though. Her family has some ties in moonshining, using mason jars and her favorite color is pink so I think it was pretty perfect considering I didn’t know those things before. We had a good chat as well.

The girl who got me as her blogentine was Alex from Captured by AJ. She had a great idea to help me explore Birmingham and get me a visit to Vulcan Park. Unfortunately, they don’t sell gift cards or passes like that but it was such a thoughtful idea. She decided on a Hobby Lobby gift card, which is pretty perfect for me! She gave some great tips on the area and a few places I should check out soon. It was great to learn more about her and inspiring hearing all she does in nursing school on top of her blog. She seems to have some great ambition and like a really sweet girl.

All in all the night was great. I love getting out of the house and having some “me” time.

Because I loved the Southern State of Mind Mason Jar so much, I decided to make it into a printable and am sharing it with you for free today.

This is soooo cute. I have pinned, downloaded, and printed to frame it. Is there any way you could flip it, so the printing is in reverse? I would LOVE to make a pillow with it but I cannot figure out a way to flip it. I would appreciate it very much.
