Pop Up Pizza

Ingredients

  • Pillsbury Biscuits
  • Pizza Sauce
  • Favorite Toppings
  • Mozzarella Cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray muffin tins. Press biscuits into the tin and drop a tablespoon of pizza sauce. Put your toppings in and top off with cheese. You want the cheese to cover the top, it doesn't need to thick but you want it to create a nice seal on the top. Bake for 12 - 5 minutes until biscuits are golden and the cheese is all melty. Let the pop up pizzas cool for a minute or two and then pop them out of the tin with a spoon.

Super fast and delicious. They stay in a cute little cup that’s perfect for individual servings. My husband likes extra sauce so I serve with a side of warm pizza sauce. This is kid (and husband) friendly and prefect for a quick meal at a the end of a long day or busy night. It’s faster and so much cheaper than ordering a pizza, which makes it a keeper for me. You can keep it simple or you can make it a fun activity and let everyone make their own little pizzas. Even my own little 2 year old can help! Serve with a side salad and some fruit and it makes a nice and hearty meal.
I hope you enjoy this pop up pizza idea! We’ve had this in the rotation for years – well before our kiddos came along.
