My kids are so into the alphabet right now. They love pointing out letters and reading Dr. Seuss’ ABC book. I thought it would be nice to hang up something bright and fun in their room so I came up with this ABC Kids Room Decor. I love it so much, I thought I’d share it for ya’ll here.
My three year old has known his letters for some time now. He is very sharp and was verbal really early on. We haven’t focused on letters a lot recently and he has somewhat regressed. Happy Birthday my sweet, dear Libby! This darling girl of mine is 2 years old! I can hardly believe it has gone this fast already. She and I spent a little time together one morning and got these great toddler birthday pictures to capture her and her cute little personality!

I’ve mentioned before how we live in a small apartment. It’s also old and it’s a basement unit so it’s dark. BUT that doesn’t mean that I can’t add things that make me happy. I came up with this easy and inexpensive Bakery Sign DIY Farmhouse Décor.
On the Fourth of July, my coworker and friend, Renee invited us over for some food and to swim at her pool. She lives a little bit of the farm life and her property is beautiful. I have a fun project in mind for her so I brought along my camera to grab some farm horse pictures for that. I’ve never really been around horses but these guys were great and so beautiful.

I’ve had this project in my head for a long time. I finally got the inspiration bug and made some time to actually bring it to life and I totally love it and how it turned out. The best thing is it is pretty easy as well. I’m excited to share this Quilt Block Wood Painted DIY Décor.
The Birmingham, AL Zoo has a great exhibit going on right now, the Dino Discovery They’re Back at the Birmingham, AL Zoo. I meant to share this when we first went but the pictures I took with my phone just didn’t do it justice so I had to take the kids back again. It’s open through the end of July.
We keep a membership at the Birmingham Zoo, just like we do at the McWane Science Center. The membership makes a great grandparent gift and is something we use all year long. It saves us a lot of money and provides us with a great entertainment option. Sometimes we go just for the splash pad in the summer. I highly recommend it. With a dino loving toddler, I was just a wee bit excited when I hear this exhibit was coming.
Today we will be celebrating fathers and father figures of all kinds and I want to give a shout out to my dear husband.
