Best Chocolate Chip Cookies!

I am not a big chocolate fan in any way. Stephen loves it but I just don’t. But even with that in mind I think these cookies are the best chocolate chip cookies I have ever had! We got this recipe from some good friends and we have been loving them ever since!!

Here is what you will need:

Preheat oven to 375 Degrees. Cream together the shortening, brown sugar and white sugar until fluffy. Then add eggs and vanilla and beat enough to combine.
In a separate bowl combine, flour, salt and baking soda and mix with a fork. After stirring together add to first mixture and beat to combine. Then add chocolate chips and nuts.
Grease cookie sheet and then drop 1 inch balls on the sheet. Bake for 13 – 14 minutes. You will only need to grease for the first batch!

Yields 2 dozen cookies! Prepare to enjoy the best chocolate chip cookies!
Freshness tip: store with a piece of bread to keep the cookies fresh and super soft!!! Yummy!
